Dr. Laura Hambley, Ph.D., R. Psych.

Dr. Laura holds a Ph.D. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology specializing in the human dynamics of distributed leadership and teamwork. She has completed and published extensive research on the critical success factors for effectively leading distributed teams. Laura coordinated a major telework research project through the Haskayne School of Business in Calgary (2004-05) and co-authored a book on the topic (Growing the Virtual Workplace, 2008). She has spoken internationally about telework and delivered seminars on distributed teams for organizations globally. Laura has helped build several assessments around distributed work success, including the Distributed Leader Profiler, the Distributed Team Diagnostic and the Distributed Work Profiler. Laura is a recipient of the Canadian Woman of Inspiration Award as a Global Influencer.

Dr. Richard Toomer, Ph.D.

Dr. Richard has extensive technical and management experience in international relations, public administration, sport studies, public policy, and policy analysis. He leverages his training and experience to apply theoretical foundation with an in-depth knowledge of business processes such as budgeting, accounting, facility management, inventory control, motivational staff management, event management, and other operational processes. Marie Baynton, CEC, PMP

Marie is a Certified Executive Coach (CEC) and Project Management Professional (PMP). She brings skills, knowledge and practical tools to effectively coach individuals and organizations towards superior performance. Marie supports executives and leadership teams to advance communication and organizational leadership skills. She understands the complexities of organizations, recognizes symptoms, problems and causes of organizational ineffectiveness and delivers effective, bespoke solutions.

David B. Christian P.Eng, FMP

David has 30 years of Canadian and international experience contributing to the success of several multimillion-dollar facilities projects and critical initiatives involving Indigenous peoples in Canada, Canadian Peacekeepers, Canadian and international military staff, and citizens of communities engaged in disaster recovery and rebuilding. David organizes and aligns resources, budgets and schedules to meet the required technical, safety, quality and cultural standards. During his career, David has been deployed across Canada, the Canadian Arctic, the U.S., Bosnia-Herzegovina, Kosovo, Macedonia, Sweden, and Haiti. He is a licensed Facility Management Professional with the International Facility Management Association (IFMA, 2015) and a member of the Canadian Society of Safety Engineering (CSSE).

Kirby Gallagher, RPA

Kirby, with 35+ years of experience providing senior management and project leadership in every aspect of commercial real estate, has delivered millions of dollars of capital projects for clients. He is a graduate of the two-year Real Estate and Property Management Program from Algonquin College of Applied Arts and Technology. He also earned his RPA (Real Property Administrator) designation from the Building Owners and Managers Institute International. Kirby is a past member and previous director of BOMA (Building Owners and Managers Association) Ottawa as well as a past member of BOMA Toronto.

Peter Johnston, MBA, PMP, CRM, PCIP

Peter is a seasoned executive management consultant with specialization in the areas of strategic planning, project management, business transformation, leadership, knowledge management, intellectual capital, security and risk management.
